From 2002, as a journalism University student I started one of what ended up as many digital entertainment news and reviews columns.
As the years went by I wrote for varying websites and publications, including producing (and writing, editing) a video gaming TV show, which ran for 12 months.
In 2011 I started a blog, where I placed all of my written work, in the way of product reviews, industry news and more. The blog very quickly became popular.
I rebuilt the blog in to a large website (it has had a couple of facelifts over the years) to the website that you see today. There are contributors in New Zealand and Australia who all write and produce content for STG (aka STG Play).
To date this is one of the last remaining websites of its type down under (NZ & AUS) and has become a recognizable brand and online presence. I manage the website (I built in WordPress), all content, design, TOV, copywriting, editing and social accounts.
