The Auckland War Memorial Mueum is New Zealand’s second largest and oldest national public museum.
I was hired as a contractor to enact a visibility solution for their events.
The problem the Museum was having that their current CMS was unable to facilitate a booking system. The solution was to build a smaller, easy to manage WordPress website, that linked in to the main website and via API allowed the public to purchase tickets for events, or register fro free school programs.
According to the internal stakeholders design and brand requirements, I built a sub-site that housed all events in a masonry tile interface and via an API linked in to ‘Event Finda’ so tickets could be purchased easily.
The contract was initially three months, but I was retained for around 9 months (remotely).
