About
I have built up my Digital Media career over the past 15 years, having worked in the tech sector, creative media agencies and e-retailers.
From telcos to entertainment, e-commerce through to creative, my career has spanned a wide variety of CMS platforms, design proficiencies, SEO & SEM practices, copywriting, branding and beyond.
My Social Media marketing experience has seen me work within Meta, Twitter, TikTok and more. From video creation to SEM campaigns, I’ve worked across varying brands, portfolios and clients from varying industries.

Design
From SMB’s to large Corps, I’ve designed banners, logo’s, edited video. I love to make a visual punch, digitally optimize a brand & create an experience users will be engaged with. I’m experienced in Final Cut, Canva, Premier, YouTube and more.

Develop
I’ve worked within multiple CMS’throughout my career and can easily code & tweak via HTML & PHP.
Whether it’s a basic requirement or something a little more tricky, leave the coding to me.

Copywiritng
I love a good story.
Every brand, every campaign has a story to tell. I can adapt to any TOV, take technical copy and edit that in to something more reader friendly. From creative, promotional, short or long form, editing to full writes, I have been copywriting for web for almost two decades.

Social Media
With Social Media Marketing I’ve worked with varying brands to gain exposure for campaigns, drive retention, engagement and keep audiences both informed & entertained. From short play videos to captivating images & copy, the goal is always to engage the audience.

2025 - 2025 Microsoft (Fasttrack 365).
Fasttrack 365 eLearning Content Producer Using a proprietary CMS system, this role required me to maintain, update and build eLearning guides used by licensed IT Admins across the wider scope of Microsoft’s 365 products and integrate Copilot (AI). This was a short term content producer and developer mixed role.2025 -
2021 - 2024 Skinny Mobile (Spark NZ).
My responsibilities with Skinny Mobile (Spark NZ) are owning their sub brand’s online, print and digital customer e-commerce journey as well as all design, branding, copywriting, TOV, Brand EXP, Social and UX / UI.2024 -
2021 - 2021 Colenso BBDO.
My responsibilities include being outsourced to Spark NZ and owning their sub brand’s online and digital customer journeys for Skinny Mobile as their Content Manager.2021 -
2019 - 2021 Vodafone NZ.
My responsibilities include daily content updates for their customer facing ecommerce website and digital marketing collateral, optimization for web and eCommerce, project leadership, mentoring and assisting others in digital and prioritising work with both external and internal stakeholders.2019 -
2018 - 2019 Office Max.
The role was a diverse one in their Digital Marketing team. Responsible for SEO, site UI and UX, Analytics, B/A Tests, Project Leads, Mockups, and keeping within the OfficeMax brands.2020 -
2018 - 2018 Vodafone Digital.
The project required a refresh of sections of their website. It was my responsibility to produce content refresh as tasked and implement them within Vodafone’s proprietary Oracle based CMS, from initial scope to mock-ups. Also to implement SEO in to the re-worked pages.2018 -
2018 - 2018 Auckland War Memorial Museum .
Project to work closely with Event Finda New Zealand and all five Museum partners in the greater Auckland region: Auckland Art Gallery, Stardome Observatory, NZ Maritime Museum and MOTAT. Within scope, I was tasked at a senior level with designing a UX for their new site, to be built in WordPress with API functionality.2018 -
2011 - 2025 STG .
STG (shanethegamer.com) was a self project, initially a blog after years of freelance column writing on digital entertainment. Now a large website covering most categories for digital lifestyles STG is a recognized brand that I started from the ground up.2011 -
2007 - 2016 ADD Digital .
My role at ADD was a diverse one – being a small to medium agency, there were a few duties that I took care of. While I was tasked with many client's digital projects over varying platforms and CMS': Silverstripe, Joomla, Drupal and WordPress (including ecommerce solutions) it was here at ADD that I also met with differing stakeholders and major clients to offer digital solutions for their brands and products / services.2007

Over 15 years of Digital Content experience across corporate, agency & eCommerce businesses in the tech sector with a wide professional skillset & experience across content CMS’ & content planning, as well as content standards & governance, cloud-based services, cross (teams & department) collaboration, best practices for technical, mid to large scale migrations, stakeholder communication management, learning platforms & AI.
